Motorola has announced that the RAZR MAXX will be making its way to the UK from next month. We'd already heard the MAXX was headed to Europe in the weeks ahead, but today it's official -- British buyers will get the chance to pick it up starting in May. With the same 3300mAh battery as the Droid RAZR MAXX and a more battery-friedly UMTS/HSPA radio setup, we're eager to see what kind of battery life we can get out of the GSM RAZR MAXX. Moto's promising 17.6 hours of continuous talk time, if you're into using your phone for actual phone calls.
Besides the battery boost (and the accompanying increase in thickness), the specs are identical to the GSM RAZR -- Android 2.3 on a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU with 1GB of RAM, an 8MP camera and a qHD SuperAMOLED display. A quick glance at UK retailers reveals a price point of £430 including VAT.
