Yogi and Boo Boo are two 9-year-old Yorkshire Terrier mixes that were found in a local shelter together. Now Redmond-based Motley Zoo Animal Rescue is working to find a loving home that will welcome them both together.
The two pooches, one male and one female, are both spayed/neutered, microchipped, flea-treated, dewormed and up-to-date on vaccines. Yogi and Boo Boo are calm among other dogs and would do fine in a household with children who are 8 years old or older.
Notes from Yogi and Boo Boo's foster home:?Boo Boo is a sweetie, and so is her pal, Yogi. They both enjoy playing (not in the rough/tumble way, but in the run around and have fun way), treats, and are good on a leash. They love playing in the yard, but can walk on a leash. A leash with two extensions so they are in tandem works great for them! They are like one dog taking up two bodies, very much in sync. Both dogs love to go for walks, they are excited to see what's going on in the world.
Boo Boo takes her lead from Yogi but she also has her own mind about things. Boo Boo likes to follow her human around and she loves to explore! She is a very curious girl. Boo Boo also enjoys playing by herself and chewing on toys (she likes to chew so having appropriate toys for her to indulge in will be important for her).?Boo Boo loves to have her belly rubbed, but is less of a lap dog than Yogi.?
Yogi likes to follow his human around and he loves to explore! He is a very curious boy and he particularly enjoys sniffing around in his foster's purse; not chewing or being destructive, he's just very keen to know what's in there. Yogi will play more with other dogs than Boo Boo; he enjoys games of chase, tug of war, play bow, and any other game that he can join in. Yogi is also a snuggler, he likes to lay with his human and get his belly rubbed. Yogi can also tell time as well as an atomic clock?he knows when it is dinner time, and when it is bed time. He will look at his foster and 'bark' in his funny way to let them know that they're off schedule.?
Boo Boo and Yogi are such a great pair, and are SUPER easy dogs to take care of. They are both so sweet and always happy. They are like little hummingbirds, always on the go and very pretty to look at. They do have a tendency to beg for human scraps but shouldn't be indulged as it is not good for their health. They are looking for a forever home together as they are a bonded pair; could it be yours?
Notes about?adopting:?All potential adopters fill out an application, are interviewed and have the opportunity to visit the dogs. Fees?depend on the veterinarian care that has been given. Because animal rescues are run entirely by volunteers, costs need to be reimbursed so the rescue can continue to save more dogs.?All adoptable pets?have vaccinations and?are spayed, neutered, microchipped and flea-treated. Many have dental work done if they are older.
